STUDY ARABIC IN LONDON

London is a truly international city, which makes it a great place to learn Arabic. Students of Arabic in London find it easy to meet native speakers due to London's large and diverse Arab community.

Arabs have settled across the city, many opening restaurants, cafes and shops. There are lots of great places to eat Lebanese food and smoke some shisha, particularly in Edgeware Road (known by nicknames such as 'Little Cairo' and 'Little Beirut) and Shepherd’s Bush.  Here you can also find supermarkets, where you can stock up on Middle Eastern ingredients and sweets.

It's easy to speak Arabic and experience Arab culture in London, without having to buy an expensive flight to the Middle-East.

London is a global centre for culture, and therefore a magnet for Middle-Eastern artists, writers and musicians. Institutions that promote Middle Eastern culture in London include
Saqi bookshop and publishing house, Arthur Probsthain Oriental and African Bookshop and the Arab-British Centre.
